Season’s Greetings!
IPH is gearing up for another Holiday Season and this year we look forward to teaming up with our wonderful community of supporters to sponsor 35 families through IPH’s Adopt-A-Family program, to donate over 30 Gift Baskets to individuals across our Housing Program, and to provide dozens of holiday meals for individuals experiencing or facing homelessness.
None of this is possible without the generosity and kindness of our sponsors, donors, and partners.
If you are interested in getting involved with IPH for the Holidays, here is all the information you need to get started:
ADOPT-A-FAMILY
Adopt-A-Family participants provide warmth and happiness for families in need during the holiday season through the sponsorship of a family within IPH’s programs.
Participants provide their contact information and the preferred family size they can commit to sponsoring and are then assigned to a family based on their preferences.
Participants will purchase gifts for each child in their “adopted” family and optionally, for the guardians/parents. To learn more or to sign up today please click here.
DONATE HOLIDAY GIFT BASKETS
Each holiday season members of the IPH community commit to donating Warm & Cozy Holiday Gift Baskets. Donors bring warmth and cheer by providing a gift basket full of thoughtful items such as cleaning supplies, towels, dishes, slippers, and other essentials.
Items are packaged together in a large laundry basket or bin and dropped off to IPH to be donated to individuals in IPH Housing. To learn more or to sign up today please click here.
COOK FOR IPH GUESTS
Meal donations contribute comfort and warmth during the holidays through preparing and delivering a homemade or catered meal or side dish to feed 45 shelter guests.
MAKE A GIFT
Gifts made to IPH are put to immediate use and ensure IPH has sustained resources to provide uninterrupted services to guests. Hot meals, case management, health and wellness care, housing supports, and shelter services all depend on IPH Annual Fund support.
Gifts can be allocated for the area of greatest need, directed towards IPH Holidays Program, or made in honor or memory of loved ones. To learn more or to make a donation please click here.
VOLUNTEER
From 9 AM - 3:00 PM, 12/13 & 12/14 at 315 Sheridan Avenue Albany, NY 12210 Community members will be stopping by to donate gifts to IPH's Adopt- A-Family Program & Holiday Gift Basket Donation Drive. We are looking for volunteer support on those days to help assist IPH staff in unloading and organizing the gifts as they are dropped off To learn more or to sign up please click here.
