Be an opener of doors.

Updated: Mar 13, 2023

IPH is proud of what sets us apart: our doors are open to everyone. We see each person as a unique and valuable member of our community, and we provide evidence-based programming designed to break the cycles of poverty and despair. IPH delivers so much more than a safe place to sleep, eat, and bathe. We believe housing is healthcare, and it is often the first step on the path to achieving wellness.

As we head into our busiest season, we need your help to meet the growing needs in our community. Read more about our work below, from the perspective of our amazing staff, and then please click the "DONATE NOW" button to help us reach our goals!

“Here at IPH, I love connecting with our guests through the food I provide. It’s the personal touches our team makes that elevate IPH programs to a level all their own.”

- Liam S., Chef

Our work is becoming more complex. Mental health, substance use, and a widening economic disparity are growing challenges... and we are here to meet them. Our tireless staff are expanding their skills and knowledge to respond to the changing landscape. They continue to innovate and inspire, delivering quality programming with respect and dignity.

We’ll continue to keep our doors open. We are emphasizing partnerships that support the mental health and complex needs of our community and continue providing services that promote an improved quality of life for our most vulnerable neighbors.

“We encourage a guest- centered approach and I stand by that. I love connecting with people, listening to their stories... It fills my spirit to know I might be changing someone’s life for the better."

- Jennifer H., Shelter Supervisor

With your gift, you provide access to basic needs resources and unlock potential for individuals and families who are unhoused or at-risk of losing their housing.

Your support will directly impact:

  • Physically and emotionally safe spaces

  • Permanent supportive housing

  • Attention to physical and behavioral health

  • Warm shelter and nutritious meals

  • Access to basic medical care

Thank you for prioritizing the needs of our guests with your gift.

“Many guests come to IPH feeling lost and without hope. Our team listens to their needs and brings that hope back. We hire passionate people who want to make a change in their communities... and our work speaks for itself.”

- Dwayne B., Case Manager
