George's Story
For thirteen years, George has called his IPH apartment home, but that stability didn't come easily. After incarceration, George faced homelessness, serious health challenges, and uncertainty about his future.

After staying in shelters and local motels when he could afford it, George found IPH. With our partnership, George applied for Social Security, sought treatment for his alcohol dependency, and eventually found an apartment. For the next thirteen years, George has lived in a home of his own with his cat Louie and reflects on his journey with pride and gratitude.

"Don't be afraid to ask for help." George says. "There are people out there who care."
