NYS Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) provides financial assistance to support households at risk of eviction and/or homelessness by providing rental arrears, temporary rental assistance, and utility arrears assistance. The IPH ERAP Coordinator will provide intake and application assistance to individuals and families in Montgomery County who are interested in applying for support through NYS ERAP.
IPH is currently hiring a full-time Case Manager for all Community Connections. The Case Manager is responsible for providing efficient and effective service delivery. Community Connections serves individuals in the community experiencing current homelessness, at risk of facing homelessness, and community members who are housed with limited resources.
IPH’s Emergency Shelter and Medical Respite Shelter in Albany serve individuals experiencing a broad range of challenges, including poverty, mental health, and substance use disorders, medical challenges, and legal issues. IPH’s Direct Support Staff oversees the operation of the shelters and provide supportive services to shelter guests on the weekends and outside of regular business hours.
Direct Support Staff are responsible for maintaining an emotionally and physically safe and supportive environment for shelter guests
RAPID REHOUSING COORDINATOR
IPH Rapid Rehousing helps individuals and families move directly from homelessness into housing by locating appropriate housing and providing flexible financial assistance if needed. Rapid Rehousing strives to resolve barriers to housing stability to promote housing stability and is a short-term intervention that serves as a bridge to permanent housing.
The IPH Rapid Rehousing Coordinator will provide strength-based case management to Rapid Rehousing Program (RRH) participants in Montgomery County.
